THE WRITER’S WORLD

Step into my world, the world of a writer.

 I stopped at a walking park on my way home today. I have had my eyes on this place for some time, and it finally got the best of me.

I locked up my car with an excited attitude pushing my self to go faster. I started following the trail and walked around a corner when I looked up I was transformed into my writing world.

The view was breathtaking all the greenery of overgrown fern bushes, trees all the brilliant colors of fall. I walked farther taking in the beautiful atmosphere. My breath drew deeper the smell of a just fallen rain. My face became hot from the heat of the sun radiating in the sky, hearing the birds chirping, feeling a slight breeze now and again.

I look deeper then others would, noticing the path turn from hard packed dirt to a medium sized gravel. Hearing things so much clearer a breeze blows leaves around in a tree causing birds to go flying from their resting place.

I look deeper and hear everything so clearly, the sun is still heating my face, my mood is so calm, and I am so relaxed. I wish I could find a bench where I can sit and take it all in. The atmosphere is so calming but yet as I walk my brain starts writing this article. 

I become anxious, wanting to get to my car, so I can write all of this down before it's all gone. Here is where you learn a writers brain is never their own, there's always a story or two brewing around in it. With all these emotions and thoughts going on in my head, I remain calm, and relaxed. I am at home in my writing world, taking the time to choose my paths wisely.  

I'm enjoying the atmosphere in my world, when I begin to feel anxious knowing that the trail would end soon. Don't get me wrong I love my life, but it's just so calm and cool here in my writing world, it physically feels like time is standing still.
 

I'm in my story, and I don't want out!

I take in a deep breath, look up and see my car. I feel relief, and then I feel sorrow because now I am back in the real world.

I sure hope there is a little writer in all of you, but if not you are always welcome to step back into my world, the world of a writer.

This brings me to why I have created this web site.

I want to share my writing with everyone interested.
